Information Lantern collects

Lantern does not require account creation and does not collect personal data. Lantern does not track users, does not show ads, and does not collect analytics or marketing data.

How Lantern uses information

Lantern is designed to minimize data collection. Your reading progress and imported content are used only to provide core in-app reading features on your device.

Data storage

Reading content and app data are stored locally on your device. This includes imported EPUB files and related reading data.

Third-party services

Lantern does not use third-party advertising SDKs or marketing trackers. Lantern may rely on Apple system frameworks and standard platform services needed to run on iOS.

Children’s privacy

Lantern is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If Lantern’s data practices change in the future, this policy may be updated. Updates will be reflected by a revised “Last updated” date on this page.
